We’ve built this science and expertise into our TONY retrofit kit, a vehicle agnostic approach to autonomous transit. Whether you need a transit van, bus, car, shuttle, truck, or custom vehicle, our TONY retrofit kit can adapt, as we’ve proven time and again.
TONY Components
Our TONY retrofit kit includes both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware and our patented software and kit solution. Core components include:
MAX: Our patented & proven full-stack autonomous software platform. Vehicle, sensor, controls, and communications protocol agnostic. Performs sensor data ingestion and perception, sensor fusion, AI-driven maneuver selection, path planning, and control messaging.
Sensors: COTS LiDAR, RADAR, camera, GPS, ultrasonic, and other sensors configured for the operational domain.
Controls: Our Bolt-in Autonomy Kit (BAK) or Drive-By-Wire adapters for steering, brake, throttle, and shift controls.
E-Box: Our flexible and modular packaging of COTS computers, communication adapters, and other electronics for onboard autonomous controls.
Watchdog: Our patented safety and security watchdog platform that independently monitors, verifies, and validates the autonomous system.
